Shia LaBeouf Born on June 11, Shia LaBeouf is a true-blue Gemini. From his Disney channel days to starring in a Spielberg action movie, he has gone a long way in his Hollywood career. Gemini is represented by the twins- this is very symbolic of their multiple personalities. Geminis are often very contradictory and complex. They are often seen as elusive individuals, flighty and indecisive. The planet Mercury is connected to the zodiac, which represents childhood and youth.
Shia is the son of a Vietnam War vet and a ballerina-turned-designer. Shia once described his parents as “hippies” and often accompanied his father to Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. When he was young, Shia attended the 32nd Street Visual and Performing Arts Magnet in Los Angeles and Alexander Hamilton High School. His career in Disney started in 1996. Prior to being cast as Louis Stevens in the hit TV series Even Stevens, Shia is pretty adept in comedy and often practiced in his neighborhood as a pastime. At age 10, he was already performing in comedy clubs, describing his style as “disgustingly dirty”. By the 2000s, he was already a regular fixture on TV, playing the precocious preteen Louis Stevens. The role earned him a nomination and win in the Daytime Emmy Awards.
Shia made his film debut in the 2003 movie Holes. However, his big break didn’t come until he was cast as Indiana Jones’ sidekick and son Mutt Williams in the big-budgetted action epic Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull in 2008. He costarred with A-Listers Harrison Ford and Cate Blanchett. He was also cast in the Transformers movies, playing Sam Witwicky. However, both of these movies opened to mixed reactions despite being box office hits.
Shia dated China Brezner from 2004 to 2007. They met on the set of one of his movies, The Greatest Game Ever Played. However, the relationship fizzled out. Shia was seen holding hands and kissing with his Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps co-star Carey Mulligan from 2009 to 2010. They were introduced to each other by the movie’s director Oliver Stone. Of this relationship, Shia had nothing but good words to say to Carey: "I still love her. I think she's a fucking awesome person and an incredible actress. We're still pals. I wouldn't take any of it back, and I don't think she would either. It just ran its course." He recently admitted to having a past relationship with model/actress Isabel Lucas in the August 2011 issue of Details magazine.
In love and personal relationships, Geminis are quite fickle and inconsistent because of their emotional nature. They are good companions, great conversationalists but they aren’t very reliable. In love, they are very affectionate, flirtatious and loving but this can all be very superficial to them as well.
